Unkind management staff
Positive: the shower was hot.
Negative: the manager was incredibly rude, off-putting and condesending. the ceiling fan did not work and he spoke to us like we were to blame.

Cozy & good location, but needs some improvement
Positive: Good location, easy access to Taft and glacier point, as well as the valley. Overall the place was fairly cozy and we enjoyed the patio.
Negative: It was mostly pretty clean, but there were a few things housekeeping overlooked or did not do a good job on. There was a used condom in the bedroom next to the night stand. There was a sewing needle inside one of the cooking pots. They only provided 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for the entire stay. The sheets did not feel fully clean, or they were just really low quality. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable with squeeky springs (what is this, 1980?) rather than modern, comfortable foam and the pillows were razer thin. All absolutely outrageous for the price of $900 per night.

Overpriced and neglected rental
Positive: There were 2 bedrooms, a living room, small kitchen and 1 bathroom
Negative: Pots and pans were literally 50 years old - all were scratched Teflon with burnt bottoms and unusable. One small baking sheet coated in burnt grease. Grill tools were absolutely filthy with caked on food grease. Dishes all had caked on food, and the dishwasher clearly did not clean properly. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and the shower curtain rod is falling out of the wall. The bed frame is again many decades old, with audible springs. We contacted the property manager to request safe pots and pans and report the issues. They were defensive and said grill tools, a baking sheet, and a stovetop tea kettle were not included amenities. So why would they list a kitchen with a stovetop, an oven and grill as amenities, if they can’t be used?! They delivered a pot, pan, and baking sheet, as well as a very dirty, tiny colander. For the amount of money we paid, we would expected useable kitchen items, an updated mattress and a clean bathroom at the very least. It's at least a 30-40 minute drive to Yosemite Valley IF there is no traffic.

Positive: Everything was perfect: the location, the facilities…
Negative: We arrived to the house at 3:30 pm under a strong snowstorm. The door was closed. When we called to the agency, they requested 50€ extra for arriving earlier than the check in time. The door remained close till 5 pm. It was a quite unkind behavior.
