Yosemite is a bit of a drive, but Oakhurst is a lovely town and has everything you need. The hosts were kind and helpful.

Definitely enjoyed the drive up to Waterfall. For anyone visiting, once you enter the drive, slow down and take in the scenery. From the pine cones to the lush green surroundings, it is all beautiful.Waterfall is as picturesque as advertised. The aesthetics are very pleasing, from the dishes to the fireplace. Daffodils line the hill leading down to the cabin, creating a warm and welcoming feel. Inside, you will find everything needed for an enjoyable stay, from utensils to hygiene essentials, thoughtfully provided by the Mitchells. You’ll only need to bring your own food (lol).Listening to the waterfall at night is soothing. You would never know it is raining unless the thunder rolls. The foliage and the wildlife is an extra touch, it was great to eat outside.

The place is amazing. We really enjoyed walks around the property as well as staying in and reading a book by the fireplace. Very charming area.
