Orange Door Cottage

We stayed Oct 8-10 at Orange Door Cottage. The stay itself was okay. One thing to know before booking. I booked with 3 guests, per the signed rental agreement. On Oct 7 I added my wife and our infant son through the host's payment link and paid $133.80. I understand the listing counts infants as paying guests. Later that day someone in our group started feeling sick, and with a young infant we decided it wasn't safe to bring him, so I emailed the host to remove the two guests and reverse the charge, a day before arrival. The host declined, saying charges can't be removed and that the change counted as a cancellation with a 100% fee. Our stay went ahead as booked, so we weren't cancelling. Neither the rental agreement nor the cancellation policy on my receipt mentions guest-count changes. If your group size might change, get the modification and refund terms in writing before you add anyone or pay.

Positive: Very comfortable, clean and cozy. Had everything we needed in kitchen. Loved the fireplace and ease of turning it on. The hot tub was heated and very clean. Negative: We really needed more towels...only had one bath towel each and one hand towel total for a 3 night stay. I texted the property mgmt asking if we could have a few more, but never even got a reply.

We had a great stay! This property was very clean, comfortable, and such a nice place to relax. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the instructions were clear and helpful. The hosts were very kind, responsive, and communicated well throughout our stay. The hot tub was also clean and well maintained, which was definitely a nice bonus! We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this Vrbo to others.

Simple and cozy to stay with the family and my fur baby. The host was consistent in communication during our stay in.
